What is CDBS?
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is an Australian Government program that provides eligible children and young people with access to a range of basic dental services.
Eligible patients can use their CDBS benefit towards approved dental treatment at Central Dental Group, up to the applicable benefit limit.

Who Is Eligible?
Your child may be eligible for the CDBS if they:
are aged 0–17 for at least one day of the calendar year;
are eligible for Medicare; and
meet the relevant Australian Government payment requirements.

What does CDBS Cover?
The CDBS can cover a range of eligible dental services, including:
check-ups
professional cleaning
fluoride treatments
fissure sealants
fillings
X-rays
extractions
root canal treatment
Some services, including orthodontic and cosmetic dental treatment, are not covered under the CDBS.
